Kamren Kinchens intercepted two passes, both leading to touchdown drives, as the Los Angeles Rams held on to defeat the Seattle Seahawks 21-19 in a showdown for first place in the NFC West on Sunday in Inglewood, Calif.

Seattle's Jason Myers kicked four field goals, but his 61-yard attempt as time expired went wide right.

Kyren Williams rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries for the Rams (8-2), who won their fifth consecutive game. Matthew Stafford was 15-of-28 passing for 130 yards and two touchdowns.

Sam Darnold was 29 of 44 for 279 yards for Seattle (7-3), but tied a career high with four interceptions. Jaxon Smith-Njigba had nine receptions for 105 yards for the Seahawks, who saw a four-game winning streak snapped.

Leading 14-12 late in the third quarter, Kinchens picked off a pass over the middle and returned it 22 yards to Seattle's 25-yard line.

That set up Stafford's 6-yard scoring strike to tight end Colby Parkinson, a former Seahawk, with 14:15 remaining to make it a two-possession game.

The Seahawks finally reached the end zone on a 1-yard run by Kenneth Walker III with 2:23 left.

Seattle stopped the Rams' offense, but Ethan Evans' punt pinned the Seahawks on their own 1-yard line with 1:41 to go. Darnold guided a drive that reached the Los Angeles 43 with one second left to set up Myers' attempt.

The Rams turned over the ball on downs at Seattle's 8-yard line on the game's opening possession.

Kinchens intercepted a Darnold pass three plays later and returned it 31 yards to the Seahawks' 3, with Williams scoring on fourth-and-goal from the 1.

After a 57-yard field goal by Myers, Stafford hit Davante Adams on a 1-yard slant for a TD. It was Adams' 1,000th career reception.

The Seahawks got 30- and 22-yard field goals by Myers in the second quarter to pull within 14-9.

Darnold threw an interception to Cobie Durant on Seattle's opening possession of the second half, but the Seahawks got the ball back as Coby Bryant forced a Puka Nacua fumble after a reception.

Seattle again drove into the red zone but had to settle for Myers' 29-yarder to cut the Rams' lead to 14-12.
